About Us

NATEA-SV is “North America Taiwanese Engineering & Science Association, Silicon Valley Chapter”, a non-profit and tax deductible professional organization founded in 1991 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, USA. Its missions are to organize and co-sponsor activities for promoting science and technology globally. Since 1991 NATEA-SV has presented numerous technological seminars, workshops, and symposiums in US and Taiwan which are open to general public.

NATEA-SV has established excellent working relationship with the mainstream professional organizations such as IEEE and Silicon Valley Engineering Council (SVEC) and organizes two main annual events: UTHF and New Frontiers in Computing (NFIC) with IEEE Computer Society Santa Clara Valley and IEEE Stanford University Chapter.

Presently, NATEA has twelve regional chapters with more than 2200 members and six regional offices The regional chapters are located in :-

The regional offices are in Columbus, Detroit, San Diego, Las Vegas, Washington, and Vancouver, Canada. Our members are mostly involved with critical technical and managerial positions in high-tech businesses as well as academic institutes. Noticeably, a great number of our members are founders and entrepreneurs of some of the most successful companies in the high-tech industries.
